  I would give this place no stars if I could. My boyfriend and I had to stop here on our way to Lake Tahoe to buy chains. They sold us the wrong size! Mind you, when we got there, they didn’t bother to come outside and take a look at our tires to make sure they gave us the right fit or to help us in any way. We noticed the chains were loose when we put them on later up the road, but it was stormy outside and we were too nervous to drive back a few miles to get the correct size. The rubber clasp that holds the chains in place fell off on both tires so we had to spend another $20 on new ones at the checkpoint we came across. The gentlemen working for cal trans at the checkpoint even mentioned the chains were way too loose and that it wasn’t safe. Not to mention, the chains damaged the rear wheel well on both sides of our car. On our way home, we stopped back by to see if we could return the chains. My boyfriend explained the situation and showed the employee the damage. Ramon, the employee my boyfriend spoke with, was calling around, looking on the internet trying to prove to my boyfriend they sold him the correct size. Ramon mentioned to my boyfriend that the gentleman at cal trans that noticed the chains were too loose should have turned us around and sent us back to them (which is a 45 minute trip mind you) to get the correct chains (so basically, he blamed the cal trans people). What!? THEN he told my boyfriend to go outside, PUT THE CHAINS ON, so that he could then go outside, take a picture and send it to corporate. Talk about incompetent, lazy and unhelpful. We should have spared the 40 minute waste of our time at this place and called corporate instead. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place, they are not helpful and don’t care about providing efficient service.
